MIMRTL is looking for a Postdoctoral Researcher to join our team!

Description:
A postdoctoral researcher position is available in the Departments of Medical Physics and Radiology at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health. We are looking for candidates interested in molecular imaging (both MRI and PET) and/or applications of MRI and PET/MR in radiotherapy treatment planning and response assessment. The study and application of machine and deep learning techniques in these research focus areas will be a major aspect of this position.

Required Qualifications and Skills:
• PhD in Engineering or Physics with a focus on magnetic resonance or positron emission tomography
• Significant familiarity with machine learning and deep learning techniques
• Strong background in mathematical modeling, data analysis, and statistics
• Proficiency in MATLAB or Python programming
• Interest in team science and reproducible research

This includes 2 3T MRI scanners, 1 PET/MRI scanner 2 PET/CT scanners, 1 CT scanner, ultrasound, cyclotron facility, RF electronic lab, wet lab, as well as other diagnostic and research modalities.
