Alan B. McMillan, PhD, is a Professor of Clinical Health Sciences within the Department of Radiology and Medical Physics at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He obtained his Bachelor of Science, Master of Science, and PhD in Biomedical Engineering at the University of Wisconsin – Madison. He is currently the Lab Director of the Molecular Imaging/Magnetic Resonance Technology Lab (MIMRTL), where the team’s focus is to integrate advanced modeling, data science, and physics-based approaches to improve MRI and PET imaging techniques. Dr. McMillan has additional roles as the Associate Section Chief of the Imaging Sciences Section and Technical Director of PET/MR within the Department of Radiology. Dr. McMillan serves on the editorial board for the journal Radiology.
